Fairy bottles and a Give-away!
Look what we found!
We found a whole package of these sweet little bottles. I've already used some as part of a Bits of Goodness swap, but I have a few left. Aren't they tiny and precious? Oh, here's a better shot to see how teeny they are.
My little girls have been dragging the ones I gave them around and dreaming up all sorts of fairy potion stories. F said we should give some to our friends, then I said maybe we should have a give away on the blog. She says "Oh, yes...we should always share with our friends, but what would they put in it?". Well, friends...what would you put in it?
Rose Salve
3 pack of Lip Balms
Dandelion Tincture
Tummy Soother (glycerite)
Boost (Elderberry syrup)
We'll pick 2 winners Friday morning (October 15th) , so get your comments in by Thursday night!

love those little bottles! i think it would be just perfect for fairy dust. your lip balms are so yummy, but i am so curious about the dandelion tincture, being the dandelion lover that i am, so i would have to choose that one! ;)
ReplyDeleteperhaps a little swig of home-brewed kombucha? cute bottle.
ReplyDeleteI would put just a little bit of my favorite fragrance (Rose) and would just love some Rose Salve. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh, I so love miniature things! I have as long as I can remember. I think I would be using it as a little vase. With a 1.5 and 3.5 year old I get flowers regularly...and usually a single small one or two...this would be perfect! Your lip balms sound lovely (I stash lip balms every where!) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOH! I have a collection of teeny tiny seashells...smaller than you can imagine, and the bottle I used to store them in broke...they need a home. That is what I would do with this bottle! And seeing as how my middle name is rose, I would LOVE to win some rose salve, too! Cute giveaway, thanks for sharing (and for your daughters' generosity)!
ReplyDeleteok. so your lip balms are the best I've ever tried...and I am a serious balm addict...ever since 8th grade, and I'm nearly 30!
ReplyDeletethose little bottles are cute!!!! maybe some essential oils to scent the home? a flower vase? possibilities!
I would fill it with the teeny peridot nuggets I was given when my mother died (it was her birth stone).
ReplyDeleteYour rose salve sounds lovely! Being the mother of three boys, "ouch cream" is always being used around here! (:
Oh, that enchanting little bottle would be full of imagination, with some imagination boostiing faerie dust I think. And your lip balms sound so wonderful! Lip balm is in heavy demand around here come winter!
ReplyDeleteBlessings...
i love lavender EO so i would put a bit of that in there! the rose salve sounds lovely!
ReplyDeleteIf I got that little bottle for myself I would have to say some kind of lovely perfume! But my girls would be oh so jealous! I would love to try your lip balm :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, I would pop a message inside - a special prayer and hope for our next (hopefully!) baby to be, and keep it safe ready go into the new little one's treasure box. I would go with lip balms! They seem to get eaten around here!
ReplyDeleteThat bottle is so cute. I would put some essential oil in it to just enjoy the fragrance. The lip balms sound good to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I would put some lavender in it that I saved from our bush back in TX...I loved watching it grow and hated so to leave it! I would love to try your boost. I have wanted to make some of that!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what my girls would want to put in the bottle. They would probably fill it with bits of flower petals and seeds, they are quite the autumn treasure harvesters these days.
ReplyDeleteRose salve sounds wonderful but lip balm sounds most practical so I will say that, since we are still not making our own, but you sure do inspire me to get started. Thank you!
Ooh I think my girls would make a lovely little potion in that sweet bottle. Love your lip balms and of course your herbal healing!
ReplyDeleteI'd probably put my dried placental powder in it! Haahah. . . seriously!

I think it's would be a good place to catch tears (as a lachrymatory).
ReplyDeleteOurs would be filled with a sweet smelling bad monster go away liquid. It helps my little guys get to sleep better when they have their monster go away liquid in hand.
ReplyDeleteIf I could put anything in it...I would put peace. Because I am scared and stressed about the impending birth.......
ReplyDeleteI met a nurse while taking my chemo who is having a very hard time. Usually she is quite jolly and tries to make me smile more. But yesterday I could tell she was really hurting. She has a dd who is pregnant and had a stroke over the weekend. They worry about the baby's health. Lots of fears. I would write happy thoughts and words of encourage on tiny pieces of paper and place them into the bottle. Tie a piece of pretty ribbon around it and perhaps decoupage something tiny on one side.
ReplyDeleteCool bottles..I would put some sand from my favorite beach here in Nova Scotia....Carters!
ReplyDeleteooo..such a hard choice, the elderberry syrup would probably come in handy!
Those bottles are adorable! I think I would have to put some of that red sand we collected (back home) in Prince Edward Island while on vacation this summer. And your lip balm would be so fantastic! I remember seeing your post about them and thought they sounded just perfect. And 3 of them means there would be one for me and each of my kids :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd put seeds in one... or lavender or rosemary... something fragrant. Oh the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteOh and I'd love to try your Boost syrup. I'm utterly intrigued by that stuff!
I would put a little good dream oil in it. Which is really just a little grape seed oil, with a drop or two of lavender. Rub it on your little one's toes before bed. Gives them sweet sleeps :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Elderberry boost syrup.
What adorable little bottles! They look just right for teeny tiny found treasures like interesting seeds we collect on our nature walks, or even a bit of fairy dust if we happened to be so lucky as to come across some!
ReplyDeleteIf I won I'd also like to try some of your lip balm... I read the recipe, sounds like great stuff!
~Rachel
I would put some rose salve in it! The bottle is so very cute.
