Laura, I love you with short hair! It looks awesome! Such a good cause. I know four women with breast cancer at work right now and it makes me wish I could donate my hair too.
I love it!!My daughter and I both did that last year! When she saw your picture she asked if your neck was cold...she thinks you need to knit yourself a scarf! :)
Your a good human.xo
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!your hair color is GORGEOUS...someone is going to be VERY happy....now you have me thinking...i've got at least 11 inches....
yea =) Kirsten's right you are a good human! I've donated to locks of love twice and it feels so good to be helping to hopefully bring some joy to a stranger's life. I'm sure your red hair will be loved by a second person too!
How many inches of hair do you have to have in order to donate?? I just got mine cut, and wish I had thought of donating :( :(Also, wanted to let you know the macaroons were deeeeeeeeeeeee-licious!!!!!! (I ate a ton of the mixture before even dehydrating the cookies)I vote for MORE RECIPES!... please :)
Absolutely radiant. Imagine the gratitude of receiving a wig made with your gorgeous hair? My sister is almost ready to cut hers after years of growing it...might have to do mine too!
THANK YOU for your kindness... I had cancer when I was 4 years old and started 1st grade with very little hair. I've had other tumors and surgeries since and each time I lose some of my hair from the trauma. I've donated my own hair, even though it's (prematurely) gray, because this is such a precious gift... your gorgeous hair will be a special delight!
I have given 12-24" of hair every 2-3 years for the last 20 years. I LOVE the feeling I get knowing that I can grow hair without thinking and it can actually help someone! The last couple times I donated, however, we had to pull out a really wide streak of white! I wonder where that came from? You look lovely and you have done something wonderful! Thanks for sharing...
So cool to hear many of you have already donated! It feels good, but I do miss my old hair. I am working into though I guess. :)Donna - Thank YOU for sharing. I am so glad I did it!Aimee - How awesome! Your hair must grow super fast...lucky you!Nellie - glad you liked the cookies. They need at least 10" to use it.Hallie - tell your daughter, yes! I do need a new scarf! :)xo
Oh my gosh! I check in after a long time and you've gone and done something amazing (again!) Wow, can't wait to see your new do'...congratulations for having the guts and for being such a good person.
Came back to tell you I made your Vegan Haystacks too. Um...they didn't last long since the batter was so dang good! Any other recipes of yours you think I would like? You are ONE GREAT COOK! I love how easy and delicious your recipes I've tried have been!
Laura, you have such beautiful hair. they will be so happy with their little package. It does suit you short to.

You look awesome and it's so great you did that. My sister did that once, and I want my daughter to donate hers once it's long enough.Personally my hair will never grow to be the right length. It's great that you're reminding people to do goodand have a fresh exciting new look at the same time.xoxo
